Almost every month I travel to Rousse, to see my parents. But I almost never go to shoot the Danube River. This time I decided to take a walk by the river and make few photos of the frozen river.[:bg]

Почти всеки месец се прибирам в Русе, а досега кажи речи не съм снимал Дунава. И накрая този път реших да се разходя по крайбрежната алея и да направя малко снимки на замръзналата река.[:][:en]

It was not fully frozen. Only by the river-bank there was ice,

While the sun was setting behind trees on the Romanian bank, it was making the water orange and it looked like river of gold.

There were a lot of birds. A flight of pelicans was flying above the water in search for food. Unfortunately they were too far to take photos, but even from here it was a magnificent view.

I descended to the ice for few last images.

In spring I’ll try to take a walk around outside Rousse. Surely there are a lot of beautiful places hidden near the bank of Danube.
