I have intend to visit Ohrid from a longtime, but this time the idea came from some friends. They said lets go and so we went. From Sofia to Ohrid are 400 km. and definitely it is a lot to go there and back for one day. We shortened the distance by staying to sleep in Giueshevo. The day passed in driving, then a stop for coffee in Skopie and again driving to Ohrid. We got there just an hour before the sunset.

There was not much time for research, but the park next to the lake was very nice and was giving a lot of opportunities for pleasant compositions.

It was full with tourists from all around the world. There were people fishing, swimming, just walking around, running kids … and doing whatever else you can think of.

The lake looks very clean. If the sunset was not that beautiful … well and if I had taken my swimming suit I would have swam with pleasure.

For the last photos I moved to the remains of something that looked like part of old fortress inside the lake.
